How Do PrimeCare™ Membranes Work?
- Unique pore-size gradient: 40-50μm (top surface) to 2-3μm (bottom surface)
- Large-pore surface entry points for whole blood samples
- Gradually decreasing pore sizes through the membrane depth
- Precision-engineered filtration effectively traps red blood cells (RBCs) while allowing plasma to flow through
2-3µm pore size on membrane bottom (left side) and 40-50µm pores on membrane top (right side)
