Rabbit anti-AF4 Antibody Affinity Purified
Product Details
Specifications
The epitope recognized by A302-344A maps to a region between residue 1 and 50 of human proto-oncogene AF4 using the numbering given in entry NP_005926.1 (GeneID 4299).
Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4. Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to AF4 immobilized on solid support.
The epitope recognized by A302-344A-T maps to a region between residue 1 and 50 of human proto-oncogene AF4 using the numbering given in entry NP_005926.1 (GeneID 4299).
Additional Product Information
AF4 is a member of the AF4/LAF4/FMR2 (ALF) family of transcription cofactors. It has been identified as part of a translocation [t(4:11)(q21;q23)] found in patients with acute leukemia involving MLL/HRX. AF4 functions as a cofactor of transcriptional elongation and chromatin remodeling.
Alternate Names
AF4; AF4/FMR2 family member 1; ALL1-fused gene from chromosome 4 protein; MLLT2; myeloid/lymphoid or mixed-lineage leukemia (trithorax homolog, Drosophila); translocated to, 2; PBM1; pre-B-cell monocytic leukemia partner 1; Protein AF-4; Protein FEL; proto-oncogene AF4
Applications
All western blot analysis is performed using 5% Milk-TBST for blocking and as antibody diluent. Primary antibody is incubated overnight.
Western blots of cell lysates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit IgG Heavy and Light Chain Antibody (Cat. No. A120-101P).
