Rabbit anti-APC1 Antibody Affinity Purified
Product Details
Specifications
The epitope recognized by A301-653A maps to a region between residue 500 and 550 of human anaphase promoting complex subunit 1 using the numbering given in entry NP_073153.1 (GeneID 64682).
Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4. Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to APC1 immobilized on solid support.
The epitope recognized by A301-653A-T maps to a region between residue 500 and 550 of human anaphase promoting complex subunit 1 using the numbering given in entry NP_073153.1 (GeneID 64682).
Additional Product Information
Anaphase-promoting complex subunit 1(APC1) is a component of the anaphase-promoting complex (APC). The APC complex functions as an ubiquitin ligase and is responsible for the ubiquitination of securin and cyclin B and prompts the onset of anaphase and the exit from mitosis. The APC complex is composed of at least 11 APC components. APC1 is the largest of these subunits.
Alternate Names
anaphase-promoting complex 1 (meiotic checkpoint regulator); anaphase-promoting complex subunit 1; APC1; cyclosome subunit 1; MCPR; mitotic checkpoint regulator; testis-specific gene 24 protein; TSG24
Applications
All western blot analysis is performed using 5% Milk-TBST for blocking and as antibody diluent. Primary antibody is incubated overnight.
Western blots of cell lysates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit IgG Heavy and Light Chain Antibody (Cat. No. A120-101P).
Western blots of immunoprecipitates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit Light Chain HRP Conjugate (Cat. No. A120-113P) with 5% Normal Pig Serum (Cat. No. S100-020) added to the blocking buffer.
