Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to ARIP4 immobilized on solid support.

The epitope recognized by IHC-00512 maps to a region between residue 75 and 125 of human androgen receptor-interacting protein 4 (RAD54-like 2) using the numbering given in entry NP_055921.2 (GeneID 23132).

Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4.

ARIP4 (androgen-interacting protein 4) was identified in a yeast two-hybrid screen using the human androgen receptor (AR) as bait. It was found to be a member of the SNF2 (sucrose nonfermenting 2) protein family and to have ATPase activity. ARIP4 is able to activate AR-dependent transcription. Targeted inactivation of ARIP4 results in embryonic lethality and reduced growth potential of embryonic fibroblast. These findings indicate an important role in development and proliferation.
