Rabbit anti-ASAP1 Antibody Affinity Purified
Product Details
Specifications
The epitope recognized by A302-118A maps to a region between residue 750 and 800 of human ArfGAP with SH3 domain, ankyrin repeat and PH domain 1 using the numbering given in entry NP_060952.2 (GeneID 50807).
Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4. Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to ASAP1 immobilized on solid support.
The epitope recognized by A302-118A-T maps to a region between residue 750 and 800 of human ArfGAP with SH3 domain, ankyrin repeat and PH domain 1 using the numbering given in entry NP_060952.2 (GeneID 50807).
Additional Product Information
ASAP1 (Arf-Gap with SH3 domain, ANK repeat and PH domain-containing protein 1) is an Arf (ADP-ribosylation factor) GAP (GTPase-activating protein) that catalyzes the hydrolysis of GTP bound to Arf, a small GTP-binding protein. As a regulator of Arf activity ASAP1 has been shown to regulate cell adhesion and migration, and to be involved in carcinogenesis. Structurally, ASAP1 bears two ankyrin repeats, one Arf-GAP domain, one PH domain, one SH3 domain, and an N-terminal Bin, Amphiphysin and Rvs167 (BAR) domain.

Applications
All western blot analysis is performed using 5% Milk-TBST for blocking and as antibody diluent. Primary antibody is incubated overnight.
Western blots of cell lysates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit IgG Heavy and Light Chain Antibody (Cat. No. A120-101P).
Western blots of immunoprecipitates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit Light Chain HRP Conjugate (Cat. No. A120-113P) with 5% Normal Pig Serum (Cat. No. S100-020) added to the blocking buffer.
