Rabbit anti-Aspartyl-tRNA Synthetase/DARS Antibody Affinity Purified
Product Details
Specifications
The epitope recognized by A304-799A maps to a region between residue 25 to 75 of human Aspartyl-tRNA synthetase using the numbering given in entry P14868.2 (GeneID 1615).
Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4. Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to Aspartyl-tRNA Synthetase/DARS immobilized on solid support.
The epitope recognized by A304-799A-T maps to a region between residue 25 to 75 of human Aspartyl-tRNA synthetase using the numbering given in entry P14868.2 (GeneID 1615).
Additional Product Information
Aspartyl-tRNA Synthetase/DARS catalyzes the specific attachment of an amino acid to its cognate tRNA in a 2 step reaction: the amino acid (AA) is first activated by ATP to form AA-AMP and then transferred to the acceptor end of the tRNA [taken from the Universal Protein Resource (UniProt) www.uniprot.org/uniprot/P14868].
Alternate Names
aspartate tRNA ligase 1, cytoplasmic; aspartate--tRNA ligase, cytoplasmic; Aspartyl-tRNA synthetase; aspartyl-tRNA synthetase, cytoplasmic; aspRS; cell proliferation-inducing gene 40 protein; HBSL; testicular tissue protein Li 192
Applications
All western blot analysis is performed using 5% Milk-TBST for blocking and as antibody diluent. Primary antibody is incubated overnight.
Western blots of cell lysates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit IgG Heavy and Light Chain Antibody (Cat. No. A120-101P).
Western blots of immunoprecipitates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit Light Chain HRP Conjugate (Cat. No. A120-113P) with 5% Normal Pig Serum (Cat. No. S100-020) added to the blocking buffer.
