Production Procedures
Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to BAAT1 immobilized on solid support.

The epitope recognized by IHC-00104 maps to a region between residues residue 775 and the C-terminus (residue 821) of human BRCA1-associated protein required for ATM activation-1 (C7orf27) using the numbering given in entry NP_689956.1 (GeneID 221927).
Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to BAAT1 immobilized on solid support.

The epitope recognized by IHC-00104-T maps to a region between residues residue 775 and the C-terminus (residue 821) of human BRCA1-associated protein required for ATM activation-1 (C7orf27) using the numbering given in entry NP_689956.1 (GeneID 221927).

Additional Product Information

BAAT1 (BRCA1-associated protein required for ATM activation-1) was identified in a yeast two-hybrid screen as a BRCA1-interacting protein. BAAT1 localizes to double stranded breaks and is required for the activation of ATM in response to ionizing radiation. BAAT1 may function to protect ATM from deactivating phosphatase activity.

Alternate Names

BAAT1; BRCA1-associated ATM activator 1; BRCA1-associated protein required for ATM activation protein 1; C7orf27; HEAT repeat-containing protein C7orf27; NEDCAS; RMFSL

Applications

Epitope exposure is recommended.

Epitope exposure with citrate buffer will enhance staining.

Likely to work with frozen sections.

In some cases, the antibody may be diluted further than indicated.
