Rabbit anti-BCCIP Antibody Affinity Purified
Product Details
Specifications
The epitope recognized by A302-196A maps to a region between residue 1 and 50 of human BRCA2 and CDKN1A interacting protein using the numbering given in entry NP_510868.1 (GeneID 56647).
Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4. Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to BCCIP immobilized on solid support.
The epitope recognized by A302-196A-T maps to a region between residue 1 and 50 of human BRCA2 and CDKN1A interacting protein using the numbering given in entry NP_510868.1 (GeneID 56647).
Additional Product Information
BCCIP (BRCA2 and CDKN1A interacting protein) was isolated as a BRCA2 and p21 interacting protein. Downregulation of BCCIP results in chromosome instability and incomplete cytokinesis indicating a role in DNA damage. Additionally, BCCIP is critical for BRCA2- and Rad51-dependent homologous recombinational repair.
Alternate Names
BCCIPalpha; BCCIPbeta; BRCA2 and CDKN1A-interacting protein; BRCA2 and Cip1/p21 interacting protein; cdk inhibitor p21 binding protein; p21- and CDK-associated protein 1; protein TOK-1; TOK1; TOK-1; TOK-1alpha; TOK-1beta
Applications
All western blot analysis is performed using 5% Milk-TBST for blocking and as antibody diluent. Primary antibody is incubated overnight.
Western blots of cell lysates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit IgG Heavy and Light Chain Antibody (Cat. No. A120-101P).
Western blots of immunoprecipitates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit Light Chain HRP Conjugate (Cat. No. A120-113P) with 5% Normal Pig Serum (Cat. No. S100-020) added to the blocking buffer.
