Rabbit anti-BRD3 Antibody Affinity Purified
Product Details
Specifications
The epitope recognized by A302-368A maps to a region between residue 676 and 726 of human bromodomain containing 3 using the numbering given in entry NP_031397.1 (GeneID 8019).
Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4. Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to BRD3 immobilized on solid support.
The epitope recognized by A302-368A-T maps to a region between residue 676 and 726 of human bromodomain containing 3 using the numbering given in entry NP_031397.1 (GeneID 8019).
Additional Product Information
BRD3 (bromodomain containing 3) is a double bromo-domain containing protein. It has been shown to associate with hyperacetylated chromatin of transcribed genes. From this finding it is suggested that BRD3 plays a role in RNA polymerase II transcription through nucleosomes. A chromosomal translocation resulting in a fusion protein involving BRD3 and NUT has been associated with a rare and lethal carcinoma. Alternate Names
bromodomain-containing protein 3; bromodomain-containing protein 3 short isoform; ORFX; RING3L; RING3-like protein
Applications
All western blot analysis is performed using 5% Milk-TBST for blocking and as antibody diluent. Primary antibody is incubated overnight.
Western blots of cell lysates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit IgG Heavy and Light Chain Antibody (Cat. No. A120-101P).
Western blots of immunoprecipitates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit Light Chain HRP Conjugate (Cat. No. A120-113P) with 5% Normal Pig Serum (Cat. No. S100-020) added to the blocking buffer.
