Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to CC2D1A immobilized on solid support.

The epitope recognized by A300-285A maps to a region between residues 1 and 50 of human Coiled-coil and C2 Domain Containing 1A using the numbering given in TrEMBL entry Q6P1N0 (GeneID 54862).

Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4.
Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to CC2D1A immobilized on solid support.

As a repressor of this element, CC2D1A represses serotonin-1A receptor and dopamine-D2 receptor gene expression and has been linked to nonsyndromic mental retardation and psychiatric illnesses. The DNA binding and repressor activities of CC2D1A are regulated by the calcium-calmodulin-dependent protein kinase.

Applications

All western blot analysis is performed using 5% Milk-TBST for blocking and as antibody diluent. Primary antibody is incubated overnight.
