Rabbit anti-CCT7 Antibody Affinity Purified
Product Details
Specifications
The epitope recognized by A304-729A-T maps to a region between residue 1 to 50 of human Chaperonin Containing Tcp1, Subunit 7 using the numbering given in entry NP_006420.1 (GeneID 10574).
Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4. Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to CCT7 immobilized on solid support.

Additional Product Information
Chaperonin containing TCP1 subunit 7 (eta) or CCT7 is a molecular chaperone. It assists with the folding of proteins upon ATP hydrolysis. CCT7 is known to play a role, in vitro, in the folding of actin and tubulin (By similarity) [taken from the Universal Protein Resource (UniProt) www.uniprot.org/uniprot/Q99832].
Alternate Names
CCTETA; CCT-eta; CCTH; chaperonin containing t-complex polypeptide 1, eta subunit; HIV-1 Nef interacting protein; HIV-1 Nef-interacting protein; NIP7-1; T-complex protein 1 subunit eta; TCP1ETA; TCP-1-eta
Applications
All western blot analysis is performed using 5% Milk-TBST for blocking and as antibody diluent. Primary antibody is incubated overnight.
Western blots of immunoprecipitates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit Light Chain HRP Conjugate (Cat. No. A120-113P) with 5% Normal Pig Serum (Cat. No. S100-020) added to the blocking buffer.
