Rabbit anti-CD31/PECAM-1 Recombinant Monoclonal Antibody [BLR127H]
Product Details
Specifications
Immunogen was a recombinant protein representing the extracellular domain of human Platelet endothelial cell adhesion molecule (aka CD31, residues 28-610, NP_000433.4).
Additional Product Information
CD31 is a cell adhesion molecule expressed mainly in platelets, endothelial cells, and a subset of leukocytes. CD31 localizes to cell-cell junctions and functions as a signaling molecule involved in a variety of vascular-related processes such as angiogenesis, platelet function, and inflammation.
Alternate Names
CD antigen CD31; CD31; CD31 antigen; CD31/EndoCAM; endoCAM; GPIIA'; PECA1; PECAM-1; platelet endothelial cell adhesion molecule; platelet endothelial cell adhesion molecule-1
Applications
All western blot analysis is performed using 5% Milk-TBST for blocking and as antibody diluent. Primary antibody is incubated overnight.
Western blots of cell lysates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit IgG Heavy and Light Chain Antibody (Cat. No. A120-101P).
Western blots of immunoprecipitates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit Light Chain HRP Conjugate (Cat. No. A120-113P) with 5% Normal Pig Serum (Cat. No. S100-020) added to the blocking buffer.
