Rabbit anti-CDC40 Antibody Affinity Purified
Product Details
Specifications
The epitope recognized by A303-699A maps to a region between residue 75 and 125 of human Cell Division Cycle 40 using the numbering given in entry NP_056975.1 (GeneID 51362).
Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4. Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to CDC40 immobilized on solid support.
The epitope recognized by A303-699A-T maps to a region between residue 75 and 125 of human Cell Division Cycle 40 using the numbering given in entry NP_056975.1 (GeneID 51362).
Additional Product Information
Cell division cycle 40 homolog (CDC40) is found to be essential for the catalytic step II in pre-mRNA splicing process. It is found in the spliceosome, and contains seven WD repeats, which function in protein-protein interactions. This protein has a sequence similarity to yeast Prp17 protein, which functions in two different cellular processes: pre-mRNA splicing and cell cycle progression. It suggests that this protein may play a role in cell cycle progression [taken from NCBI Entrez Gene (Gene ID: 51362)].
Alternate Names
cell division cycle 40 homolog; EHB3; EH-binding protein 3; hPRP17; pre-mRNA splicing factor 17; pre-mRNA-processing factor 17; PRP17; PRP17 homolog; PRPF17
Applications
All western blot analysis is performed using 5% Milk-TBST for blocking and as antibody diluent. Primary antibody is incubated overnight.
Western blots of cell lysates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit IgG Heavy and Light Chain Antibody (Cat. No. A120-101P).
Western blots of immunoprecipitates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit Light Chain HRP Conjugate (Cat. No. A120-113P) with 5% Normal Pig Serum (Cat. No. S100-020) added to the blocking buffer.
