Rabbit anti-CKI epsilon Antibody Affinity Purified
Product Details
Specifications
The epitope recognized by A302-135A maps to a region between residue 366 and 416 of human casein kinase 1, epsilon using the numbering given in entry NP_001885.1 (GeneID 1454). This antibody may have slight crossreactivity with CKI delta, which has a similar epitope.
Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4. Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to CKI epsilon immobilized on solid support.
The epitope recognized by A302-135A-T maps to a region between residue 366 and 416 of human casein kinase 1, epsilon using the numbering given in entry NP_001885.1 (GeneID 1454). This antibody may have slight crossreactivity with CKI delta, which has a similar epitope.
Additional Product Information
CKI epsilon is a member of the casein kinase 1 (CK1) serine/threonine kinase family of proteins. In mammals, there are seven distinct genes that represent the CK1 family: alpha, beta, gamma-1, gamma-2, gamma-3, delta, and epsilon. CKI epsilon phosphorylates a large number of proteins and is involved in pathways involving Wnt and AKT. CKI epsilon has been found to bind and phosphorylate the circadian protein, Period, and the Wnt signaling protein, Dsh. In the Wnt pathway, CKI epsilon activity is required for the full activation of Dsh and downstream signaling effects.
Alternate Names
casein kinase I isoform epsilon; CKIe; CKIepsilon; CKI-epsilon; HCKIE
Applications
All western blot analysis is performed using 5% Milk-TBST for blocking and as antibody diluent. Primary antibody is incubated overnight.
Western blots of cell lysates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit IgG Heavy and Light Chain Antibody (Cat. No. A120-101P).
Western blots of immunoprecipitates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit Light Chain HRP Conjugate (Cat. No. A120-113P) with 5% Normal Pig Serum (Cat. No. S100-020) added to the blocking buffer.
