Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to CPSF30 immobilized on solid support.

The epitope recognized by A301-584A maps to a region between residue 220 and 245 of human cleavage and polyadenylation specific factor 4, 30kD subunit using the numbering given in entry NP_006684.1 (GeneID 10898).

Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4.
Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to CPSF30 immobilized on solid support.

CPSF30/CPSF4 (cleavage and polyadenylation specific factor 4, 30 kDa subunit) is a subunit of the cleavage and polyadenylation specificity factor (CPSF) involved in mammalian mRNA 3’-end processing. CPSF, along with CstF (cleavage and stimulation factor), is critical for the recognition of cis-acting sequence elements on the pre-mRNA that dictate the site of cleavage and subsequent polyadenylation. CPSF exists as a complex of four proteins that includes CPSF160/CPSF1, CPSF100/CPSF2, CPSF73/CPSF3, and CPSF30/CPSF4. Studies of the Arabidopsis CPSF30/CPSF4 ortholog have revealed that CPSF30/CPSF4 may function as a processing endonuclease and interacts with Fip1, an integral subunit of CPSF.

Applications

All western blot analysis is performed using 5% Milk-TBST for blocking and as antibody diluent. Primary antibody is incubated overnight.
