Rabbit anti-CTNND1 Antibody Affinity Purified
Product Details
Specifications
The epitope recognized by A300-976A maps to a region between residue 75 and 125 of human catenin (cadherin-associated protein), delta 1 using the numbering given in entry NP_001322.1 (GeneID 1500).
Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4. Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to CTNND1 immobilized on solid support.
The epitope recognized by A300-976A-T maps to a region between residue 75 and 125 of human catenin (cadherin-associated protein), delta 1 using the numbering given in entry NP_001322.1 (GeneID 1500).
Additional Product Information
CTNND1 is an Armadillo repeat domain protein and member of the p120 protein family. The major function of CTNND1 involves the regulation of cadherins to influence cell-cell interactions. CTNND1 regulates cadherins by controlling cadherin turnover and/or trafficking. CTNND1 has also been found to play a role in the regulation of the actin cytoskeleton by modulating the activity of small GTPase Rho family members. CTNND1 is a substrate of the nonreceptor tyrosine kinase src and may play a role in the regulation of factors that regulate transcription.

Applications
All western blot analysis is performed using 5% Milk-TBST for blocking and as antibody diluent. Primary antibody is incubated overnight.
Western blots of cell lysates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit IgG Heavy and Light Chain Antibody (Cat. No. A120-101P).
Western blots of immunoprecipitates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit Light Chain HRP Conjugate (Cat. No. A120-113P) with 5% Normal Pig Serum (Cat. No. S100-020) added to the blocking buffer.
