Rabbit anti-DC8 Antibody Affinity Purified
Product Details
Specifications
The epitope recognized by A300-795A maps to a region between residue 230 and the C-terminus (residue 281) of human DC8 (C1orf48) using the numbering given in entry NP_056286.2 (GeneID 25936).
Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4. Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to DC8 immobilized on solid support.
The epitope recognized by A300-795A-T maps to a region between residue 230 and the C-terminus (residue 281) of human DC8 (C1orf48) using the numbering given in entry NP_056286.2 (GeneID 25936).
Additional Product Information
DC8 is a component of the MIS12 complex which includes DC8, MIS12, DSN1, and PMF1. The MIS12 complex localizes at inner kinetochores to perform an essential function in kinetochore assembly which allows proper chromosome alignment and cell cycle progression.
Alternate Names
C1orf48; DC8; kinetochore-associated protein NSL1 homolog; MIS14; NSL1, MIND kinetochore complex component, homolog
Applications
All western blot analysis is performed using 5% Milk-TBST for blocking and as antibody diluent. Primary antibody is incubated overnight.
Western blots of cell lysates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit IgG Heavy and Light Chain Antibody (Cat. No. A120-101P).
Western blots of immunoprecipitates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit Light Chain HRP Conjugate (Cat. No. A120-113P) with 5% Normal Pig Serum (Cat. No. S100-020) added to the blocking buffer.
