Rabbit anti-DDX51 Antibody Affinity Purified
Product Details
Specifications
The epitope recognized by A301-089A maps to a region between residue 616 and 666 of human DEAD (Asp-Glu-Ala-Asp) box polypeptide 51 using the numbering given in entry NP_778236.1 (GeneID 317781).
Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4. Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to DDX51 immobilized on solid support.
The epitope recognized by A301-089A-T maps to a region between residue 616 and 666 of human DEAD (Asp-Glu-Ala-Asp) box polypeptide 51 using the numbering given in entry NP_778236.1 (GeneID 317781).
Additional Product Information
DDX51 is a member of the DEAD box family of proteins that possesses several conserved motifs which include the highly conserved DEAD (Asp-Glu-Ala-Asp) amino acid sequence motif. The major activity of DEAD box proteins is to function as ATP-dependent RNA helicases. As helicases, DEAD proteins play an important role in all aspects of RNA metabolism and function which include pre-mRNA splicing, RNA synthesis, RNA degradation, RNA export, RNA translation, RNA secondary structure formation, ribosome biogenesis, and the assembly of RNP complexes. DDX51 may function in biogenesis of the 60S ribosomal subunit.
Alternate Names
ATP-dependent RNA helicase DDX51; DEAD (Asp-Glu-Ala-Asp) box polypeptide 51; DEAD box protein 51
Applications
All western blot analysis is performed using 5% Milk-TBST for blocking and as antibody diluent. Primary antibody is incubated overnight.
Western blots of cell lysates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit IgG Heavy and Light Chain Antibody (Cat. No. A120-101P).
Western blots of immunoprecipitates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit Light Chain HRP Conjugate (Cat. No. A120-113P) with 5% Normal Pig Serum (Cat. No. S100-020) added to the blocking buffer.
