Production Procedures
Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to DEAF1 immobilized on solid support.

The epitope recognized by A303-187A maps to a region between residue 515 and 565 of human Deformed Epidermal Autoregulatory Factor 1 using the numbering given in entry NP_066288.2 (GeneID 10522).

Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4.
Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to DEAF1 immobilized on solid support.

The epitope recognized by A303-187A-T maps to a region between residue 515 and 565 of human Deformed Epidermal Autoregulatory Factor 1 using the numbering given in entry NP_066288.2 (GeneID 10522).

Additional Product Information

Deformed epidermal autoregulatory factor 1 homolog (DEAF1) is a transcription factor that binds to sequences with multiple copies of 5'-TTC[CG]G-3' present in its own promoter and that of the HNRPA2B1 gene and also binds to the retinoic acid response element (RARE) 5'-AGGGTTCACCGAAAGTTCA-3'. DEAF1 regulates epithelial cell proliferation and side-branching in the mammary gland and also controls the expression of peripheral tissue antigens in pancreatic lymph nodes [taken from the Universal Protein Resource (UniProt) www.uniprot.org/uniprot/ O75398].

Applications

All western blot analysis is performed using 5% Milk-TBST for blocking and as antibody diluent. Primary antibody is incubated overnight.

Western blots of cell lysates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit IgG Heavy and Light Chain Antibody (Cat. No. A120-101P).

Western blots of immunoprecipitates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit Light Chain HRP Conjugate (Cat. No. A120-113P) with 5% Normal Pig Serum (Cat. No. S100-020) added to the blocking buffer.
