Rabbit anti-Dicer Antibody Affinity Purified
Product Details
Specifications
The epitope recognized by A301-936A maps to a region between residue 600 and 650 of human double-stranded RNA-specific endoribonuclease; dicer1 using the numbering given in entry NP_085124.2 (GeneID 23405).
Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4. Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to Dicer immobilized on solid support.
The epitope recognized by A301-936A-T maps to a region between residue 600 and 650 of human double-stranded RNA-specific endoribonuclease; dicer1 using the numbering given in entry NP_085124.2 (GeneID 23405).
Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4.
Additional Product Information
Dicer is one of three human RNase III enzymes (Drosha, Dicer, and Argonaute) that plays a diverse role in the processing and maturation of RNA. Dicer is involved in processing pre-cursor mRNAs into both microRNAs (miRNAs) and short interfering RNAs (siRNAs) for the gene-silencing pathways of RNA interference (RNAi). Dicer interacts with Argonaute 2 (Ago2) and TRBP (TAR RNA-binding protein).
Alternate Names
DCR1; Dicer; dicer 1, double-stranded RNA-specific endoribonuclease; dicer 1, ribonuclease type III; Dicer1, Dcr-1 homolog; Dicer1e; endoribonuclease Dicer; helicase MOI; helicase with RNAse motif; HERNA; K12H4.8-LIKE; MNG1; RMSE2
Applications
All western blot analysis is performed using 5% Milk-TBST for blocking and as antibody diluent. Primary antibody is incubated overnight.
Western blots of cell lysates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit IgG Heavy and Light Chain Antibody (Cat. No. A120-101P).
Western blots of immunoprecipitates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit Light Chain HRP Conjugate (Cat. No. A120-113P) with 5% Normal Pig Serum (Cat. No. S100-020) added to the blocking buffer.
