Production Procedures
Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to DOCK180 immobilized on solid support.

The epitope recognized by A301-288A maps to a region between residue 1815 and 1865 of human dedicator of cytokinesis, 180 kDa using the numbering given in entry NP_001371.1 (GeneID 1793).

Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4.
Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to DOCK180 immobilized on solid support.

The epitope recognized by A301-288A-T maps to a region between residue 1815 and 1865 of human dedicator of cytokinesis, 180 kDa using the numbering given in entry NP_001371.1 (GeneID 1793).

Additional Product Information

DOCK80 is a non-conventional Rho-guanine nucleotide exchange factor (Rho-GEF) that functions to activate the small GTPases Rac and Cdc42. It is a member of the CZH (CDM-zizimin homology) family of proteins that contain two highly conserved domains, CZH1 and CZH2. Dock180 functions to activate Rac and regulate cell adhesion, cell spreading, migration and phagocytosis.

Alternate Names

180 kDa protein downstream of CRK; ced5; dedicator of cytokinesis protein 1; DOCK180; DOwnstream of CrK

Applications

All western blot analysis is performed using 5% Milk-TBST for blocking and as antibody diluent. Primary antibody is incubated overnight.

Western blots of cell lysates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit IgG Heavy and Light Chain Antibody (Cat. No. A120-101P).

Western blots of immunoprecipitates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit Light Chain HRP Conjugate (Cat. No. A120-113P) with 5% Normal Pig Serum (Cat. No. S100-020) added to the blocking buffer.
