Product Details
Specifications
The epitope recognized by A304-209A-T maps to a region between residue 400 to 450 of human Dynein, Cytoplasmic 1, Light Intermediate Chain 1 using the numbering given in entry NP_057225.2 (GeneID 51143).
Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4. Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to DYNC1LI1 immobilized on solid support.

Additional Product Information
Cytoplasmic dynein 1 light intermediate chain 1 (DYNC1LI1) acts as one of several non-catalytic accessory components of the cytoplasmic dynein 1 complex that are thought to be involved in linking dynein to cargos and to adapter proteins that regulate dynein function. Cytoplasmic dynein 1 acts as a motor for the intracellular retrograde motility of vesicles and organelles along microtubules. It may play a role in binding dynein to membranous organelles or chromosomes and is probably involved in the microtubule-dependent transport of pericentrin. DYNC1LI1 Is required for progress through the spindle assembly checkpoint [taken from the Universal Protein Resource (UniProt) www.uniprot.org/uniprot/Q9Y6G9].
Alternate Names
cytoplasmic dynein 1 light intermediate chain 1; DLC-A; DNCLI1; dynein light chain A; dynein light intermediate chain 1, cytosolic; dynein, cytoplasmic, light intermediate polypeptide 1; LIC1
Applications
All western blot analysis is performed using 5% Milk-TBST for blocking and as antibody diluent. Primary antibody is incubated overnight.
Western blots of immunoprecipitates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit Light Chain HRP Conjugate (Cat. No. A120-113P) with 5% Normal Pig Serum (Cat. No. S100-020) added to the blocking buffer.
