Rabbit anti-E1B-AP5 Antibody Affinity Purified
Product Details
Specifications
The epitope recognized by A300-863A-T maps to a region between residue 800 and the C-terminus (residue 856) of human E1B-55kDa-Associated Protein 5 using the numbering given in entry NP_008971.2 (GeneID 11100). Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to E1B-AP5 immobilized on solid support.
The epitope recognized by A300-863A maps to a region between residue 800 and the C-terminus (residue 856) of human E1B-55kDa-Associated Protein 5 using the numbering given in entry NP_008971.2 (GeneID 11100).
Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4.
Additional Product Information
E1B-AP5 was identified as a protein that interacts with adenovirus type 5 (Ad5) early 55-kDa oncoprotein. EIB-AP5 is a member of the heterogeneous nuclear ribonucleoprotein (hnRNP) family that can bind RNA and appears to play a role in mRNA processing and transport.
Alternate Names
adenovirus early region 1B-associated protein 5; E1B 55kDa associated protein 5; E1B-55 kDa-associated protein 5; E1BAP5; E1B-AP5; heterogeneous nuclear ribonucleoprotein U-like protein 1; HNRPUL1
Applications
All western blot analysis is performed using 5% Milk-TBST for blocking and as antibody diluent. Primary antibody is incubated overnight.
Western blots of cell lysates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit IgG Heavy and Light Chain Antibody (Cat. No. A120-101P).
Western blots of immunoprecipitates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit Light Chain HRP Conjugate (Cat. No. A120-113P) with 5% Normal Pig Serum (Cat. No. S100-020) added to the blocking buffer.
