Rabbit anti-EF-1 delta Antibody Affinity Purified
Product Details
Specifications
The epitope recognized by A301-685A maps to a region between residue 130 and 180 of human eukaryotic translation elongation factor 1 delta using the numbering given in entry NP_001951.2 (GeneID 1936).
Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4. Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to EF-1 delta immobilized on solid support.
The epitope recognized by A301-685A-T maps to a region between residue 130 and 180 of human eukaryotic translation elongation factor 1 delta using the numbering given in entry NP_001951.2 (GeneID 1936).
Additional Product Information
Elongation factor 1-delta (EF-1delta) is one of four subunits of the elongation factor-1 complex, a non-ribosomal complex that is involved in delivery of aminoacyl tRNAs to the ribosome. EF-1 is composed of EF-1alpha, EF-1beta, EF-1delta, and EF-1gamma. EF-1beta and EF-delta function as guanine nucleotide exchange factors and stimulate the exchange of GDP bound to EF-1 alpha for GTP.
Alternate Names
antigen NY-CO-4; EF1D; EF-1D; EF-1-delta; elongation factor 1-delta; eukaryotic translation elongation factor 1 delta (guanine nucleotide exchange protein); FP1047
Applications
All western blot analysis is performed using 5% Milk-TBST for blocking and as antibody diluent. Primary antibody is incubated overnight.
Western blots of cell lysates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit IgG Heavy and Light Chain Antibody (Cat. No. A120-101P).
Western blots of immunoprecipitates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit Light Chain HRP Conjugate (Cat. No. A120-113P) with 5% Normal Pig Serum (Cat. No. S100-020) added to the blocking buffer.
