Rabbit anti-GAS41 Antibody Affinity Purified
Product Details
Specifications
The epitope recognized by A304-722A maps to a region between residue 177 to 227 of human Glioma-Amplified Sequence-41 using the numbering given in entry NP_006521.1 (GeneID 8089).
Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4. Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to GAS41 immobilized on solid support.
The epitope recognized by A304-722A-T maps to a region between residue 177 to 227 of human Glioma-Amplified Sequence-41 using the numbering given in entry NP_006521.1 (GeneID 8089).
Additional Product Information
Glioma-amplified sequence 41 (GAS41) is a protein found in the nucleoli. It has high sequence homology to human MLLT1, and yeast and human MLLT3 proteins. Both MLLT1 and MLLT3 proteins belong to a class of transcription factors, indicating that the encoded protein might also represent a transcription factor. This protein is thought to be required for RNA transcription. This gene has been shown to be amplified in tumors [taken from NCBI Entrez Gene (Gene ID: 8089)].

Applications
All western blot analysis is performed using 5% Milk-TBST for blocking and as antibody diluent. Primary antibody is incubated overnight.
Western blots of cell lysates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit IgG Heavy and Light Chain Antibody (Cat. No. A120-101P).
Western blots of immunoprecipitates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit Light Chain HRP Conjugate (Cat. No. A120-113P) with 5% Normal Pig Serum (Cat. No. S100-020) added to the blocking buffer.
