Rabbit anti-GEF-H1 Antibody Affinity Purified
Product Details
Specifications
The epitope recognized by A301-929A-T maps to a region between residue 675 and 725 of human guanine nucleotide exchange factor H1 using the numbering given in entry CAH72629.1 (GeneID 9181).
Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4. Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to GEF-H1 immobilized on solid support.

Additional Product Information
GEF-H1 (guanine nucleotide exchange factor H1) is a microtubule regulated guanine nucleotide exchange factor for the RhoA GTPase. It catalyzes the exchange of GDP for GTP by Rho in response to microtubule destabilization. GEF-H1 has shown to be regulated during cytokinesis and plays a role in the cleavage furrow.
Alternate Names
GEF; GEFH1; GEF-H1; guanine nucleotide exchange factor H1; LFP40; microtubule-regulated Rho-GEF; NEDMHM; P40; proliferating cell nucleolar antigen p40; rho guanine nucleotide exchange factor 2; Rho/Rac guanine nucleotide exchange factor (GEF) 2
Applications
All western blot analysis is performed using 5% Milk-TBST for blocking and as antibody diluent. Primary antibody is incubated overnight.
Western blots of immunoprecipitates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit Light Chain HRP Conjugate (Cat. No. A120-113P) with 5% Normal Pig Serum (Cat. No. S100-020) added to the blocking buffer.
