Rabbit anti-GFM1 Antibody Affinity Purified
Product Details
Specifications
The epitope recognized by A305-114A maps to a region between residue 25 to 75 of human Elongation factor G, mitochondrial using the numbering given in entry Q96RP9.2 (GeneID 85476).
Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4. Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to GFM1 immobilized on solid support.
The epitope recognized by A305-114A-T maps to a region between residue 25 to 75 of human Elongation factor G, mitochondrial using the numbering given in entry Q96RP9.2 (GeneID 85476).
Additional Product Information
The protein elongation factor G, mitochondrial, is encoded by the gene GFM1, also known as EGF1. This mitochondrial GTPase is involved in the polypeptide chain elongation pathway [taken from UniProtKB (Entry: Q96RP9)].
Alternate Names
COXPD1; EFG; EFG1; EFGM; EF-Gmt; EGF1; Elongation factor G 1, mitochondrial; elongation factor G, mitochondrial; Elongation factor G1; G translation elongation factor, mitochondrial; GFM; hEFG1; mEF-G 1; mitochondrial elongation factor G; mitochondrial elongation factor G1; mtEF-G1
Applications
All western blot analysis is performed using 5% Milk-TBST for blocking and as antibody diluent. Primary antibody is incubated overnight.
Western blots of cell lysates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit IgG Heavy and Light Chain Antibody (Cat. No. A120-101P).
