Production Procedures
Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to HERC4 immobilized on solid support.

The epitope recognized by A301-847A maps to a region between residue 1007 and 1057 of human hect domain and RLD 4 using the numbering given in entry NP_071362.1 (GeneID 26091).

Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4.

Additional Product Information

HERC4 (HECT domain and RCC1-like domain-containing protein 4) belongs to the HERC family of ubiquitin ligases. In mice, HERC4 expression is ubiquitous with high levels in the testis. Male mice homozygous for HERC4 mutations exhibit reduced fertility and spermatozoa with reduced motility.

26091
HERC4
HECT and RLD domain containing E3 ubiquitin protein ligase 4
Q5GLZ8
Probable E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase HERC4

Alternate Names

HECT domain and RCC1-like domain-containing protein 4; hect domain and RLD 4; HECT-type E3 ubiquitin transferase HERC4; probable E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase HERC4

Applications

All western blot analysis is performed using 5% Milk-TBST for blocking and as antibody diluent. Primary antibody is incubated overnight.

Western blots of cell lysates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit IgG Heavy and Light Chain Antibody (Cat. No. A120-101P).

Western blots of immunoprecipitates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit Light Chain HRP Conjugate (Cat. No. A120-113P) with 5% Normal Pig Serum (Cat. No. S100-020) added to the blocking buffer.
