Rabbit anti-Histone H1x Antibody Affinity Purified
Product Details
Specifications
The epitope recognized by A304-604A maps to a region between residue 163 to 213 of human H1 histone family, member X using the numbering given in entry NP_006017.1 (GeneID 8971).
Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4. Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to Histone H1x immobilized on solid support.
The epitope recognized by A304-604A-T maps to a region between residue 163 to 213 of human H1 histone family, member X using the numbering given in entry NP_006017.1 (GeneID 8971).
Additional Product Information
Histones are basic nuclear proteins that are responsible for the nucleosome structure of the chromosomal fiber in eukaryotes. Nucleosomes consist of approximately 146 bp of DNA wrapped around a histone octamer composed of pairs of each of the four core histones (H2A, H2B, H3, and H4). The chromatin fiber is further compacted through the interaction of a linker histone, H1, with the DNA between the nucleosomes to form higher order chromatin structures. Histone H1x is a member of the histone H1 family [taken from NCBI Entrez Gene (Gene ID: 8971)].
Alternate Names

Applications
All western blot analysis is performed using 5% Milk-TBST for blocking and as antibody diluent. Primary antibody is incubated overnight.
Western blots of cell lysates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit IgG Heavy and Light Chain Antibody (Cat. No. A120-101P).
Western blots of immunoprecipitates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit Light Chain HRP Conjugate (Cat. No. A120-113P) with 5% Normal Pig Serum (Cat. No. S100-020) added to the blocking buffer.
