Rabbit anti-hnRNP-U Antibody Affinity Purified
Product Details
Specifications
The epitope recognized by A300-689A maps to a region between residue 450 and 500 of human Heterogeneous Nuclear Ribonucleoprotein U using the numbering given in entry NP_114032.1 (GeneID 3192).
Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4. Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to hnRNP-U immobilized on solid support.
The epitope recognized by A300-689A-T maps to a region between residue 450 and 500 of human Heterogeneous Nuclear Ribonucleoprotein U using the numbering given in entry NP_114032.1 (GeneID 3192).
Additional Product Information
Heterogeneous nuclear ribonucleoprotein U (hnRNP-U) belongs to a group of ubiquitously expressed heterogeneous nuclear ribonucleoproteins (hnRNPs) that bind and complex with heterogeneous nuclear RNA (hnRNA) and play a role in pre-mRNA processing and transport. In addition to its RNA-binding domain, hnRNP-U contains a scaffold-associated region (SAR)-specific bipartite DNA-binding domain. Recent evidence suggests that hnRNP-U influences the expression of several genes by regulating mRNA stability.

Applications
All western blot analysis is performed using 5% Milk-TBST for blocking and as antibody diluent. Primary antibody is incubated overnight.
Western blots of cell lysates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit IgG Heavy and Light Chain Antibody (Cat. No. A120-101P).
