Rabbit anti-LARS Antibody Affinity Purified
Product Details
Specifications
The epitope recognized by A304-315A maps to a region between residue 1 to 50 of human Leucyl-tRNA Synthetase using the numbering given in entry NP_064502.9 (GeneID 51520).
Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4. Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to LARS immobilized on solid support.
The epitope recognized by A304-315A-T maps to a region between residue 1 to 50 of human Leucyl-tRNA Synthetase using the numbering given in entry NP_064502.9 (GeneID 51520).
Additional Product Information
Leucyl-tRNA synthetase (LARS) catalyzes the specific attachment of an amino acid to its cognate tRNA in a two step reaction: the amino acid (AA) is first activated by ATP to form AA-AMP and then transferred to the acceptor end of the tRNA. LARS exhibits a post-transfer editing activity to hydrolyze mischarged tRNAs [taken from the Universal Protein Resource (UniProt) www.uniprot.org/uniprot/Q9P2J5].
Alternate Names

Applications
All western blot analysis is performed using 5% Milk-TBST for blocking and as antibody diluent. Primary antibody is incubated overnight.
Western blots of cell lysates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit IgG Heavy and Light Chain Antibody (Cat. No. A120-101P).
