Rabbit anti-Lasu1/Ureb1 Antibody Affinity Purified
Product Details
Specifications
The epitope recognized by A300-486A maps to a region between residues 2250 and 2300 of human Upstream Regulatory Element Binding Protein 1 using the numbering given in entry NP_113584.3 (GeneID 10075).
Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4. Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to Ureb1/Lasu1 immobilized on solid support.
The epitope recognized by A300-486A-T maps to a region between residues 2250 and 2300 of human Upstream Regulatory Element Binding Protein 1 using the numbering given in entry NP_113584.3 (GeneID 10075).
Additional Product Information
The conjugation of ubiquitin to proteins is an important means to regulate protein activity for many cellular processes by tagging them for degradation. Lasu1/Ureb1 is an E3 ubiquitin protein ligase that mediates the ubiquitination of core histones, Mcl-1, Cdc6, and p53. Lasu1/Ureb1 expression is regulated during spermatogenesis and appears to play a role in chromatin modification in germ cells as well as other tissues.

Applications
All western blot analysis is performed using 5% Milk-TBST for blocking and as antibody diluent. Primary antibody is incubated overnight.
Western blots of cell lysates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit IgG Heavy and Light Chain Antibody (Cat. No. A120-101P).
Western blots of immunoprecipitates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit Light Chain HRP Conjugate (Cat. No. A120-113P) with 5% Normal Pig Serum (Cat. No. S100-020) added to the blocking buffer.
