Rabbit anti-MARK3 Antibody Affinity Purified
Product Details
Specifications
The epitope recognized by A302-187A-T maps to a region between residue 575 and 625 of human MAP/microtubule affinity-regulating kinase 3 using the numbering given in entry EAW81819.1 (GeneID 4140).
Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4. Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to MARK3 immobilized on solid support.

Additional Product Information
MARK3 (Microtubule-affinity regulating kinase 3) is also known as PAR-1a (partition-defective 1a) and is a member of a family of kinases that plays a role in cell polarity and cell-cycle control. There are four PAR-1/MARK isoforms encoded by independent genes: MARK1 (PAR-1c), MARK2 (PAR-1b/EMK), MARK3(PAR-1a), and MARK4 (PAR-1d/MARKL1). MARK isoforms phosphorylates microtubule associated proteins (MAPs) such as MAP2, MAP4, and tau to regulate their association with microtubules.
Alternate Names
cdc25C-associated protein kinase 1; CTAK1; C-TAK1; ELKL motif kinase 2; EMK-2; KP78; MAP/microtubule affinity-regulating kinase 3; PAR1A; Par-1a; protein kinase STK10; ser/Thr protein kinase PAR-1; serine/threonine-protein kinase p78
Applications
All western blot analysis is performed using 5% Milk-TBST for blocking and as antibody diluent. Primary antibody is incubated overnight.
Western blots of immunoprecipitates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit Light Chain HRP Conjugate (Cat. No. A120-113P) with 5% Normal Pig Serum (Cat. No. S100-020) added to the blocking buffer.
