Additional Product Information
MLLT1, also known as ENL (eleven nineteen leukemia protein), was originally identified as a gene involved in a recurrent translocation (11;19) with the mixed-lineage leukemia (MLL) gene. The MLL-ENL fusion protein has been found to associate with SWI/SNF complexes and promote transcription from the HoxA7 promoter. Additionally, from studies to identify proteins that associate with MLLT1, MLLT1 is suggested to play a role in histone modification and transcriptional elongation.
Alternate Names
CTC-503J8.6; ENL; ENL/MLL fusion; LTG19; MLL/ENL fusion protein; MLLT1/MLL fusion; myeloid/lymphoid or mixed-lineage leukemia (trithorax homolog); translocated to, 1; myeloid/lymphoid or mixed-lineage leukemia (trithorax homolog, Drosophila); translocated to, 1; myeloid/lymphoid or mixed-lineage leukemia; translocated to, 1; protein ENL; YEATS domain-containing protein 1; YEATS1
Applications
All western blot analysis is performed using 5% Milk-TBST for blocking and as antibody diluent. Primary antibody is incubated overnight.
Western blots of immunoprecipitates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit Light Chain HRP Conjugate (Cat. No. A120-113P) with 5% Normal Pig Serum (Cat. No. S100-020) added to the blocking buffer.
