Rabbit anti-MST1,2/STK3,4 IHC Antibody Affinity Purified
Product Details
Specifications
The epitope recognized by IHC-00432 maps to the C-terminus between residues 450-491 of human Mammalian Sterile 20-like 2 (Serine/Threonine Kinase 3) using the numbering given in Swiss Prot entry Q13188 (GeneID 6788). The epitope is highly conserved with MST1(STK4). Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to MST1 and MST2 immobilized on solid support.
The epitope recognized by IHC-00432-T maps to the C-terminus between residues 450-491 of human Mammalian Sterile 20-like 2 (Serine/Threonine Kinase 3) using the numbering given in Swiss Prot entry Q13188 (GeneID 6788). The epitope is highly conserved with MST1(STK4).
Additional Product Information
MST2/STK3 is a member of the sterile 20 (Ste20)-like kinase family that acts upstream of mitogen-activated protein kinase (MAPK) pathways and regulates c-Jun N-terminal kinase (JNK), p38 and extracellular signal-regulated kinase (ERK). Ste20-like kinases are involved in a variety of cellular processes which include gene transcription, stress responses, cytoskeletal organization and apoptosis. In response to apoptotic signals, MST2/STK3 is cleaved by caspase-3 and mediates apoptosis.
Alternate Names

Applications
Epitope exposure is recommended.
Epitope exposure with tris-EDTA pH9.0 buffer will enhance staining.
Likely to work with frozen sections.
In some cases, the antibody may be diluted further than indicated.
