Production Procedures
Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to MSUT2 immobilized on solid support.

The epitope recognized by A303-992A maps to a region between residue 450 to 500 of human Zinc Finger CCCH-Type Containing 14 using the numbering given in entry NP_079100.2 (GeneID 79882).

Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4.

Additional Product Information

Mammalian suppressor of tau pathology 2 (MSUT2) belongs to a family of poly(A)-binding proteins that influence gene expression by regulating mRNA stability, nuclear export, and translation [taken from NCBI Entrez Gene (Gene ID: 79882)].

Zinc finger CCCH domain-containing protein 14

Alternate Names

mammalian suppressor of tau pathology-2; MRT56; MSUT-2; nuclear protein UKp68; NY-REN-37; renal carcinoma antigen NY-REN-37; SUT2; UKp68; zinc finger CCCH domain-containing protein 14

Applications

All western blot analysis is performed using 5% Milk-TBST for blocking and as antibody diluent. Primary antibody is incubated overnight.

Western blots of immunoprecipitates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit Light Chain HRP Conjugate (Cat. No. A120-113P) with 5% Normal Pig Serum (Cat. No. S100-020) added to the blocking buffer.
