Rabbit anti-NF-YA Antibody Affinity Purified
Product Details
Specifications
The epitope recognized by A302-104A-T maps to a region between residue 320 and 333 of human nuclear transcription factor Y, alpha using the numbering given in entry NP_002496.1 (GeneID 4800).
Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4. Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to NF-YA immobilized on solid support.

Additional Product Information
Nuclear transcription factor Y alpha (NF-YA) is a subunit of the NF-Y heterotrimeric complex composed of NF-YA, NF-YB, and NF-YC. The NF-Y factor binds the CCAAT box with high specificity and affinity, and it is the major CCAAT-binding activator. All 3 subunits are essential for CCAAT binding. NF-Y plays a role in regulating several cell-cycle regulated genes such as CDC2, CDC25A/B/C, cyclin A2, cyclin B1/B2, and E2F1.
Alternate Names
CAAT box DNA-binding protein subunit A; CAAT-box DNA binding protein subunit A; CBF-A; CBF-B; CCAAT-binding transcription factor subunit B; HAP2; HAP2 CCAAT-binding protein; NF-YA; nuclear transcription factor Y subunit A; nuclear transcription factor Y subunit alpha; nuclear transcription factor Y, alpha; Transcription factor NF-Y, A subunit
Applications
All western blot analysis is performed using 5% Milk-TBST for blocking and as antibody diluent. Primary antibody is incubated overnight.
Western blots of immunoprecipitates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit Light Chain HRP Conjugate (Cat. No. A120-113P) with 5% Normal Pig Serum (Cat. No. S100-020) added to the blocking buffer.
