Production Procedures
Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to NS1-BP immobilized on solid support.

The epitope recognized by A302-879A maps to a region between residue 50 and 100 of human NS1-Binding Protein using the numbering given in entry NP_006460.2 (GeneID 10625).

Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4.
Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to NS1-BP immobilized on solid support.

The epitope recognized by A302-879A-T maps to a region between residue 50 and 100 of human NS1-Binding Protein using the numbering given in entry NP_006460.2 (GeneID 10625).

Additional Product Information

NS1-binding protein (NS1-BP) plays a role in cell division and in the dynamic organization of the actin skeleton by functioning as a stabilizer of actin filaments via its association with F-actin through Kelch repeats. NS1-BP may be a component of the cellular splicing machinery with a role in pre-mRNA splicing and may mediate the inhibition of splicing by NS/influenza virus NS1A protein. NS1-BP has also been found to function as modifier of the AHR/Aryl hydrocarbon receptor pathway by increasing the concentration of AHR available to activate transcription [taken from the Universal Protein Resource (UniProt) www.uniprot.org/uniprot/ Q9Y6YO].

Applications

All western blot analysis is performed using 5% Milk-TBST for blocking and as antibody diluent. Primary antibody is incubated overnight.

Western blots of cell lysates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit IgG Heavy and Light Chain Antibody (Cat. No. A120-101P).

Western blots of immunoprecipitates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit Light Chain HRP Conjugate (Cat. No. A120-113P) with 5% Normal Pig Serum (Cat. No. S100-020) added to the blocking buffer.
