Rabbit anti-Pfetin Antibody Affinity Purified
Product Details
Specifications
The epitope recognized by A303-471A maps to a region between residue 125 and 175 of human Predominantly Fetal Expressed T1 Domain using the numbering given in entry NP_612453.1 (GeneID 115207).
Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4. Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to Pfetin immobilized on solid support.
The epitope recognized by A303-471A-T maps to a region between residue 125 and 175 of human Predominantly Fetal Expressed T1 Domain using the numbering given in entry NP_612453.1 (GeneID 115207).
Additional Product Information
Pfetin (predominantly fetal expressed T1 domain) was identified by subtractive hybridization and differential screening of human fetal cochlear cDNA clones. Pfetin contains a voltage-gated postassium (K+) channel tetramerization (T1) domain and has been found to interact as a tetramer with GABRB1 and GABRB2. Pfetin has also been identified as a prognostic biomarker of gastrointestinal stromal tumors.
Alternate Names
BTB/POZ domain-containing protein KCTD12; C13orf2; PFET1; PFETIN; potassium channel tetramerisation domain containing 12; predominantly fetal expressed T1 domain; testicular tissue protein Li 100
Applications
All western blot analysis is performed using 5% Milk-TBST for blocking and as antibody diluent. Primary antibody is incubated overnight.
Western blots of cell lysates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit IgG Heavy and Light Chain Antibody (Cat. No. A120-101P).
Western blots of immunoprecipitates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit Light Chain HRP Conjugate (Cat. No. A120-113P) with 5% Normal Pig Serum (Cat. No. S100-020) added to the blocking buffer.
