Production Procedures
Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to PLRG1 immobilized on solid support.

The epitope recognized by IHC-00404 maps to a region between residue 464 and 514 of human pleiotropic regulator 1 using the numbering given in entry NP_002660.1 (GeneID 5356).

Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4.

Additional Product Information

Pleiotropic regulator 1 (PLRG1) has been shown to be a part of sub-spliceosomal protein complexes. It is highly conserved across species and is essential for pre-mRNA splicing. PLRG1 interacts with human CDC5. This interaction has also been shown to be essential to pre-mRNA splicing.

Alternate Names

Applications

Epitope exposure is recommended.

Epitope exposure with citrate or tris-EDTA pH9.0 buffer will enhance staining.

Likely to work with frozen sections.

In some cases, the antibody may be diluted further than indicated.
