Production Procedures
Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to PolE3/p17 immobilized on solid support.

The epitope recognized by IHC-00250 maps to a region between residue 97 and 147 of human DNA polymerase epsilon subunit 3 using the numbering given in entry NP_059139.2 (GeneID 54107).

Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4.

Additional Product Information

PolE3/p17 is a subunit of DNA polymerase epsilon that plays a role in DNA replication and repair. PolE3/p17 contains histone-fold motifs which play a role in protein-protein and protein-DNA interactions. PolE3/p17 interacts with CHRAC1 (chromatin assembly complex 1), ACF1, and ISWI/SNF2H proteins to form the CHRAC ISWI chromatin-remodeling complex.

Applications

Epitope exposure is recommended.

Epitope exposure with citrate buffer will enhance staining.

Likely to work with frozen sections.

In some cases, the antibody may be diluted further than indicated.
