Rabbit anti-RelB Antibody Affinity Purified
Product Details
Specifications
The epitope recognized by A302-182A-T maps to a region between residue 50 and 100 of human v-rel reticuloendotheliosis viral oncogene homolog B using the numbering given in entry NP_006500.2 (GeneID 5971).
Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4. Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to RelB immobilized on solid support.

Additional Product Information
The members of the Rel family bear a characteristic 300 amino acid N-terminal Rel homology domain (RHD). The Rel members include NF-kappa B1/p50, NF-kappa B2/p52, RelA/p65, c-Rel, and RelB. The Rel proteins combine as heterodimers or homodimers to form the NF-kappa B transcription factor which functions to mediate pleiotropic cellular effects in response to injury, infection and stress.
Alternate Names
IMD53; IREL; I-REL; REL-B; transcription factor RelB; v-rel avian reticuloendotheliosis viral oncogene homolog B (nuclear factor of kappa light polypeptide gene enhancer in B-cells 3); v-rel reticuloendotheliosis viral oncogene homolog B, nuclear factor of kappa light polypeptide gene enhancer in B-cells 3
Applications
All western blot analysis is performed using 5% Milk-TBST for blocking and as antibody diluent. Primary antibody is incubated overnight.
Western blots of immunoprecipitates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit Light Chain HRP Conjugate (Cat. No. A120-113P) with 5% Normal Pig Serum (Cat. No. S100-020) added to the blocking buffer.
