Rabbit anti-RPL29/ Ribosomal Protein L29 Antibody Affinity Purified
Product Details
Specifications
The epitope recognized by A305-055A maps to a region between residue 1 to 50 of human 60S ribosomal protein L29 using the numbering given in entry P47914.2 (GeneID 6159).
Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4. Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to RPL29/ Ribosomal Protein L29 immobilized on solid support.
The epitope recognized by A305-055A-T maps to a region between residue 1 to 50 of human 60S ribosomal protein L29 using the numbering given in entry P47914.2 (GeneID 6159).
Additional Product Information
Ribosomes, the organelles that catalyze protein synthesis, consist of a small 40S subunit and a large 60S subunit. Together these subunits are composed of 4 RNA species and approximately 80 structurally distinct proteins. RPL29 is a cytoplasmic ribosomal protein that is a component of the 60S subunit. The protein belongs to the L29E family of ribosomal proteins. The protein is also a peripheral membrane protein expressed on the cell surface that directly binds heparin [taken from NCBI Entrez Gene (Gene ID: 6159)].
Alternate Names
60S ribosomal protein L29; cell surface heparin-binding protein HIP; heparin/heparan sulfate-binding protein; heparin/heparan sulfate-interacting protein; HIP; HP/HS-interacting protein; HUMRPL29; L29; large ribosomal subunit protein eL29; ribosomal protein YL43 homologue; RPL29_3_370; RPL29P10
Applications
All western blot analysis is performed using 5% Milk-TBST for blocking and as antibody diluent. Primary antibody is incubated overnight.
Western blots of cell lysates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit IgG Heavy and Light Chain Antibody (Cat. No. A120-101P).
