Rabbit anti-RRAGC/RagC Antibody Affinity Purified
Product Details
Specifications
The epitope recognized by A304-300A-T maps to a region between residue 349 to 399 of human Ras-Related GTP Binding C using the numbering given in entry NP_071440.1 (GeneID 64121).
Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4. Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to RRAGC/RagC immobilized on solid support.

Additional Product Information
Ras-related GTP-binding protein C (RagC) has guanine nucleotide-binding activity but weak intrinsic GTPase activity. RagC is probably required for the amino acid-induced relocalization of mTORC1 to the lysosomes and its subsequent activation by the GTPase RHEB. This is a crucial step in the activation of the TOR signaling cascade by amino acids [taken from the Universal Protein Resource (UniProt) www.uniprot.org/uniprot/Q9HB90].
Alternate Names
GTPase-interacting protein 2; GTR2; Rag C; Rag C protein; RAGC; ras-related GTP-binding protein C; TIB929
Applications
All western blot analysis is performed using 5% Milk-TBST for blocking and as antibody diluent. Primary antibody is incubated overnight.
Western blots of immunoprecipitates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit Light Chain HRP Conjugate (Cat. No. A120-113P) with 5% Normal Pig Serum (Cat. No. S100-020) added to the blocking buffer.
