Rabbit anti-SF1 Antibody Affinity Purified
Product Details
Specifications
The epitope recognized by A303-214A-T maps to a region between residue 225 and 275 of human Splicing Factor 1 using the numbering given in entry NP_004621.2 (GeneID 7536).
Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4. Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to SF1 immobilized on solid support.

Additional Product Information
Splicing factor 1 (SF1) is a nuclear pre-mRNA splicing factor. SF1 specifically recognizes the intron branch point sequence and is required for the early stages of spliceosome assembly [taken from NCBI Entrez Gene (Gene ID: 7536)].
Alternate Names
BBP; D11S636; mammalian branch point-binding protein; MBBP; splicing factor 1; transcription factor ZFM1; ZCCHC25; ZFM1; zinc finger gene in MEN1 locus; zinc finger protein 162; ZNF162
Applications
All western blot analysis is performed using 5% Milk-TBST for blocking and as antibody diluent. Primary antibody is incubated overnight.
Western blots of immunoprecipitates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit Light Chain HRP Conjugate (Cat. No. A120-113P) with 5% Normal Pig Serum (Cat. No. S100-020) added to the blocking buffer.
