The epitope recognized by IHC-00213 maps to a region between residue 1164 and the C-terminus (residue 1214) of human SWI/SNF related, matrix associated, actin dependent regulator of chromatin, subfamily c, member 2 (BRG1-associated factor 170) using the numbering given in entry NP_003066.2 (GeneID 6601).
Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4. Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to SMARCC2/BAF170 immobilized on solid support.

The SWI/SNF-related, matrix-associated, actin-dependent regulators of chromatin (SMARC), also called BRG1-associated factors (BAFs), have been identified as components of the human SWI/SNF-like chromatin-remodeling protein complexes. SMARCC2/BAF170 associates with SMARCA2/Brm and SMARCA4/Brg BAF complex and in cooperation with SMARCC1/BAF155, enhances chromatin remodeling activity.
