Rabbit anti-STAT6 Antibody Affinity Purified
Product Details
Specifications
The epitope recognized by A300-415A maps to a region between residue 600 and 650 of human Signal Transducer and Activator of Transcription 6 using the numbering given in entry NP_003144.3 (GeneID 6778).
Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4. Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to STAT6 immobilized on solid support.
The epitope recognized by A300-415A-T maps to a region between residue 600 and 650 of human Signal Transducer and Activator of Transcription 6 using the numbering given in entry NP_003144.3 (GeneID 6778).
Additional Product Information
STAT6 is part of the STAT (signal transducers and activators of transcription) family of transcription factors that relays signals from cytokine receptors to the nucleus where they act as transcriptional activators. STAT6 mediates signals that originate from the IL-4 receptor via JAKs (Janus Kinases) and activates a gene program involved in B- and T- cell differentiation, proliferation, and apoptosis.
Alternate Names
D12S1644; IL-4 Stat; IL-4-STAT; signal transducer and activator of transcription 6; signal transducer and activator of transcription 6, interleukin-4 induced; STAT, interleukin4-induced; STAT6B; STAT6C; transcription factor IL-4 STAT
Applications
All western blot analysis is performed using 5% Milk-TBST for blocking and as antibody diluent. Primary antibody is incubated overnight.
Western blots of cell lysates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit IgG Heavy and Light Chain Antibody (Cat. No. A120-101P).
Western blots of immunoprecipitates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit Light Chain HRP Conjugate (Cat. No. A120-113P) with 5% Normal Pig Serum (Cat. No. S100-020) added to the blocking buffer.
