Rabbit anti-SUPT6H Antibody Affinity Purified
Product Details
Specifications
The epitope recognized by A300-801A maps to a region between residue 425 and 475 of human Suppressor of Ty 6 Homolog using the numbering given in entry NP_003161.2 (GeneID 6830).
Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4. Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to SUPT6H immobilized on solid support.
The epitope recognized by A300-801A-T maps to a region between residue 425 and 475 of human Suppressor of Ty 6 Homolog using the numbering given in entry NP_003161.2 (GeneID 6830).
Additional Product Information
Transcription elongation is one step in the multistage process of transcription that involves the polymerization of nucleoside monophosphates into a ribonucleotide transcript catalyzed by the multisubunit complex RNA Pol II. Transcriptional regulation involves positive factors that promote sufficient elongation rates and processivity as well as negative elongation factors that repress transcription elongation. SUPT6H is hypothesized to play a role in enhancing the rate of transcription elongation in association with RNA Pol II by mobilizing histones and modulating chromatin structure.
Alternate Names

Applications
All western blot analysis is performed using 5% Milk-TBST for blocking and as antibody diluent. Primary antibody is incubated overnight.
Western blots of cell lysates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit IgG Heavy and Light Chain Antibody (Cat. No. A120-101P).
Western blots of immunoprecipitates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit Light Chain HRP Conjugate (Cat. No. A120-113P) with 5% Normal Pig Serum (Cat. No. S100-020) added to the blocking buffer.
