Rabbit anti-TECR Antibody Affinity Purified
Product Details
Specifications
The epitope recognized by A305-515A maps to a region between residue 200 to 250 of human Trans-2, 3-enoyl-CoA reductase using the numbering given in entry Q9NZ01.1 (GeneID 9524).
Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4. Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to TECR immobilized on solid support.
The epitope recognized by A305-515A-T maps to a region between residue 200 to 250 of human Trans-2, 3-enoyl-CoA reductase using the numbering given in entry Q9NZ01.1 (GeneID 9524).
Additional Product Information
TECR is a multi-pass membrane protein that resides in the endoplasmic reticulum, and belongs to the steroid 5-alpha reductase family. The elongation of microsomal long and very long chain fatty acid consists of 4 sequential reactions. This protein catalyzes the final step, reducing trans-2,3-enoyl-CoA to saturated acyl-CoA [taken from NCBI Entrez Gene (Gene ID: 9524)].
Alternate Names
epididymis secretory sperm binding protein; glycoprotein, synaptic 2; GPSN2; MRT14; SC2; synaptic glycoprotein SC2; TER; Trans-2,3-enoyl-CoA reductase; very-long-chain enoyl-CoA reductase
Applications
All western blot analysis is performed using 5% Milk-TBST for blocking and as antibody diluent. Primary antibody is incubated overnight.
Western blots of cell lysates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit IgG Heavy and Light Chain Antibody (Cat. No. A120-101P).
