Rabbit anti-Tip41 IHC Antibody Affinity Purified
Product Details
Specifications
The epitope recognized by IHC-00450 maps to a region between residue 225 and the C-terminus (residue 272) of human TIP41, TOR-signaling Pathway Regulator-like using the numbering given in entry NP_690866.1 (GeneID 261726).
Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4. Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to Tip41 immobilized on solid support.
The epitope recognized by IHC-00450-T maps to a region between residue 225 and the C-terminus (residue 272) of human TIP41, TOR-signaling Pathway Regulator-like using the numbering given in entry NP_690866.1 (GeneID 261726).
Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4.
Additional Product Information
In Saccharomyces cerevisiae Tip41 is implicated to play a role in the TOR (target of rapamycin) pathway which regulates cell growth in response to nutrient signals. Tip 41 negatively regulates the TOR pathway by binding and inhibiting TAP42, an inhibitor of the SIT4 phosphatase.
Alternate Names
putative MAPK-activating protein PM10; TIP; TIP41; TIP41, TOR signaling pathway regulator-like; TIP41-like protein; TIPRL1; type 2A-interacting protein
Applications
Epitope exposure is recommended.
Epitope exposure with tris-EDTA pH9.0 buffer will enhance staining.
Likely to work with frozen sections.
In some cases, the antibody may be diluted further than indicated.
